In China

We arrived in Shanghai yesterday afternoon very weary after our two 5 hour flights. By the time we booked into the hotel all we had time to do was grab a bite to eat and walk down to the Bund, where we took some photos which I will upload later.

Unfortunately internet access is not very easy but we will post when we can.

The World Expo was a very full day and I will post more about that with photos very soon.

So far everyone is having a great time!

Youth Ambassadors

Today the students were presented with certificates from the Premier's Department naming them as Youth Ambassadors for the duration of their stay in China. They were also presented with a book about Western Australia and a Western Australian flag in a Jarrah stand that they will present to their homestay families in Hangzhou. Hopefully we will be able to post photos of the presentation ceremony next week.

Eight Days To Go!

The last few weeks have disappeared very quickly and it is now only eight days until we leave!

Today Mr Robert Webster, President of the Rotary Club of Willetton came and presented jackets to the students travelling to China. The Rotary Club kindly gave us the money to purchase the team jackets.
The students are pictured here with Mr Webster and our principal Mr Bamber.
